Outside Lands Festival Draws Kanye West And Kim Kardashian

Outside Lands Festival is a music concert that happens every year in San Francisco. It brings musical acts from all kind of genres, and this year Kanye West graced the festival with his presence to perform a set.

Although the Outside Lands festival had a pretty awesome line up with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Killers, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Arctic Monkeys, Tiësto, Death Cab For Cutie, Disclosure, and The Flaming Lips, just to name a few, we’re willing to bet West was the only person to get the most exposure for the music festival.

Not only did West bring his unique sense of artistry to the festival, but his socialite wife Kim Kardashian-West took in the sights too. On August 8, West took the stage and Kim hid out backstage to watch him perform. Probably a very VIP spot when you take into consideration everyone who was squished to see Kanye perform a list of hits. According to HollywoodLife, West made sure to shout out Kim, but it wasn’t exactly her given name. According to a source, he referred to Kim as his “baby mama” which isn’t out of line considering the pair has a daughter, North West, who is 13-months old.

Kim wasn’t exactly dressed for the occasion and decided to show up in a leather coat, hip hugging jeans, and a pair of heels — definitely not friendly concert attire for a music festival, but as we stated, the celebrity wasn’t hanging out with everyone else that was there to see Kanye’s show

According to a source:

“At one point during his set, he said, ‘Baby mama’s first show since we got married.’ Then he later admitted it was actually Kim’s third show since they got married, but he just said first to make it sound more dramatic!”

Perhaps West has lost count as Kim was also backstage at his Bonnaroo Musical Festival performance back in June. As far as Kim hanging with West’s fans, the star didn’t really party with them, but an excited fan did get a high-five and a smile, which is equated to a hug and fist bump if it was anyone else.

It’s obvious that the rapper’s wife enjoys watching him perform. Back in June, she sent West a sweet message while he was performing at the X Games even though she wasn’t present.
