Desiree Hartsock, Chris Siegfield Wedding Plans: ‘The Bachelorette’ Couple Shares Scoop
It seems Desiree Hartsock’s wedding to Chris Siegfried is getting closer by the day, but The Bachelorette star admits there’s one little problem. Really, judging by what she shared recently during her bridal shower, there are two big problems. What do Desiree and Chris need to accomplish before walking down the aisle?
Desiree Hartsock says that there are a lot of pieces in place for her big wedding, but The Bachelorette couple has not yet set a date or picked a venue. Those are two pretty big details to pin down, and some would say it’s a bit interesting that they still are working on those components.
Chris and Desiree have said that they are aiming for January 2015, and she would like the wedding to be in California. That is where she also just held her bridal shower, and The Bachelorette fans will remember that she was living in California before becoming engaged to Chris Siegfried and moving to Seattle, Washington. Des says that she has a lot of friends in California. In addition, with the nicer weather and a hope for an outdoor wedding, she wouldn’t have to worry about the weather compared to trying to wed in Seattle.
Of course, another perk to planning the wedding to be in California would be the possibility of working with ABC to have it aired on the network. Naturally, that would also mean that ABC would foot the bill. So far, however, nothing in this regard seems to be in place. Desiree and Chris recently said they would be open to a televised wedding. However, Reality Steve’s spoilers have said many times that he heard that ABC is taking a pass entirely. Why? Nobody is dishing on those details, but fans are curious.
As Reality Steve notes, if ABC were planning to televise Des and Chris’ wedding, they would be filming the bridal shower, controlling what The Bachelorette couple shares via social media and the media regarding plans and so forth. It does indeed seem clear that Hartsock and Siegfried are on their own with this one, but fans keep hoping that somehow something will still come together.
A lot of The Bachelorette fans had their doubts when this finale aired, but the two have shown that they are indeed in this one for the long haul. Will Desiree and Chris be walking down the aisle over the winter? It’s looking likely, but it doesn’t seem as if fans will have the opportunity to watch. There’s still time for that to change, and fans of The Bachelorette couple Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried will have to keep their fingers crossed.
