Kim Kardashian Says North Loves Watching Her Get Her Makeup Done
Kim says that North likes to watch her while she puts on makeup — the 1-year-old is quite the girly girl! According to The SpreadIt, Kim was at ULTA in Los Angeles last week for the launch of the new Kardashian Sun Kissed line, when Kim got to talking about North and how her daughter just loves watching mom get all dolled up.
“North actually will totally sit on my lap and is fascinated when I’m getting my hair blown out. And when I’m getting my makeup done [too.] I’ll give her a little makeup brush, and she’ll be entertained.”
Kim loves that North likes to watch her while she’s getting her makeup and hair done — and that’s something that a lot of moms can relate to. Many young girls can recall sitting on their mom’s bed and watching her apply foundation, blush, eyeshadow, and mascara — for many kids this meant mommy was leaving (cue the crying), but for others, there was something really cool about watching mom change her look with a few simple tools.
Naturally, Kim Kardashian gets her hair and makeup done a lot more than the average mom, but it sounds like North is experiencing those “mommy and me” moments just the same. It’s actually sweet to hear that North loves to watch her mom, and it shows that Nori is never too far from her mom’s side, even when Kim has something to get ready for.
Aside from Kim sharing that North likes to watch her do her makeup, Kim also revealed some other exciting news recently. Kim and her husband, Kanye West, are trying to have another baby! As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Kim says that she wanted to be pregnant at the same time as her sister, Kourtney, but Kourt is already halfway through her third pregnancy. Kim and Kanye want to give North a little brother or sister, and it sounds like they could have a baby #2 announcement by the end of the year.
Since becoming a mom, things have changed for Kim a bit, especially when it comes to getting ready and looking flawless. According to Mail Online, Kim Kardashian talked about her beauty regimen, and how she gets in some tanning time (even if it’s artificial by way of her new line).
“The baby and husband are in bed sleeping, I spray myself and go to bed. No one wants to come in the middle of the night once everyone’s down, so it just makes it easy… I lay out a little bit. But, especially now that I have the baby, I don’t have time. When she’s napping, I do.”
