Taylor Swift Wears Braces And Gets Nerdy For ‘Tonight Show’ Appearance, ‘Unrecognizable’ [Video]

Taylor Swift is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on August 13, but is giving fans a preview of her appearance for the show. Taylor Swift will be “Natalie” for the show and boasts some impressive braces, glasses, and make-up free styling. The video was uploaded to The Tonight Show’s Youtube account yesterday and already has over 271,000 hits.

If you aren’t familiar with the “Eww!” portion of The Tonight Show, it is a simple concept. Sara, the teen-girl host of the talk show “Eww!” is played by Jimmy Fallon and interviews guests. Past guests have included First Lady Michelle Obama, Lindsey Lohan, and Will Ferrell to name a few.

Taylor Swift is disguised behind her thick glasses and braces as she steps into character as Natalie, delivering a video message to Sara from “Eww!”. In the video, Natalie reminds Sara that their moms were best friends in college and presses Sara to be on her talk show. Natalie says,

“So I’m really excited because my mom said that we’re going to come visit you and your mom and your dad, and um, I heard that you have that television show called ‘Eww!’ and so that maybe I could be on it, is was what I was thinking.”

US Magazine points out that Swift looks “unrecognizable” in her promo video.
