Is ISIS Taking A Counter-Clockwise Route To Attacking Israel?
Recently, the transgressions of ISIS have been reported to go beyond words and humanity. Here on The Inquisitr, we reported how ISIS is now beheading children, as seen in a decapitated body of a little girl. This travesty, along with the crucifixions, are now making their rounds on the internet, shocking Americans who are reading the headlines.
Reports are coming in that ISIS are now fighting the Lebanese Army at their border. This also stirred some opinions from multiple forums and blogs that it looks as if ISIS are traveling in a counter-clockwise direction. Their intended destination: Israel.
According to an article by the New York Times, the deadly confrontation between ISIS and the Lebanese Army intensified on Monday after the ISIS seized the border town of Arsal over the weekend. These events have now led to a serious spillover of the Syrian civil war into Lebanese territory, a conflict which began three years ago. What’s more, some of the residents in Arsal believe the fighting is the fault of the Lebanese Army. A refugee, going by his first name of Walid, said in the following statement:
“Some residents here are angry with us [The Lebanese Army] – they’re refusing to host any of us thinking that we are behind such fighting, as if we were the ones who welcomed the insurgents.”
The U.N. refugee agency’s Lebanon representative, Ninette Kelley, said that she traveled to the Bekaa Valley, a region near the fighting, to confer with Lebanese officials to determine what additional supplies should be mobilized for civilians in need, including food, water, and medicine. Presently, more than a third of the 1.1 million registered Syrian refugees in Lebanon are in the Bekaa Valley, according to U.N. statistics.
However, specified news sites like Now The End Begins and blogs like NightWatch, believe that Lebanon is just one stop along the path to ISIS’s true destination: Israel. If this is true, Israel will have another issues to worry about because ISIS is considered to be far fiercer than the Hamas, much more organized, and well-funded. Also, there are now theories that ISIS may be the ones responsible for the destruction of Damascus as prophesized in Isaiah 17:1, in which it reads:
“The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.”
Now that you have read the facts and theories, we want to know what you think. Do you think that ISIS is taking a circular route to attack Israel? Or do you think it is just a theory and presently have no plans to attack the country with the third most powerful military in the world? Let us know in the comments below.
