Tony Parker Marries Axelle Francine, Longtime Girlfriend And Mother Of His 4-Month Old Son

After being together three years, Tony Parker marries his longtime girlfriend, Axelle Francine. The two also have a 4-month-old son, Josh, together. Francine is a French journalist and has been with Parker since 2011.

According to People magazine, the San Antonio Spurs basketball player married Francine in an intimate ceremony on Saturday. They had a pre-wedding reception on Thursday held at Cowboy Dancehall in the Alamo City. Their marriage occurred the same weekend that Parker signed a $43.3 million contract with the Spurs for an additional three years.

“It was just a little gathering,” an employee at the dancehall tells People. “He just wanted to show them a Texas country good time.”

Apparently the couple sipped on cocktails and enjoyed mingling with the friends and family they invited to the reception. Some relatives of Axelle’s flew in from France.

A tweet posted by the venue read:

“We are so happy we were able to host Tony Parker’s Wedding Reception here at Cowboys Dancehall!! We love our SPURS!!”

In TMZ’s report on the ceremony, 140 guests were in attendance. Some of Tony’s Spurs and French national teammates were present. On Friday, Tony and Axelle had a pool party as part of the celebration.

Parker says he wants to play for the San Antonio Spurs for the duration of his NBA career. He says:

“I’m very happy and I want to play for the Spurs my whole career and be a Spur for life.”

The New York Daily News reached out to Tony Parker’s rep for comment, but their request hasn’t been returned.

Parker’s ex-wife from his first marriage is TV actress and producer, Eva Longoria. They divorced in 2011 over a sexting scandal in which Parker allegedly cheated on Longoria. It was a scandalous divorce that played out non-stop in headlines that had to do with mutual friends as well.

Eva is now in a relationship with Telvisa president Jose Antonio Baston. They’ve been together since October of last year. They were spotted on a getaway enjoying the sun in Capri, Italy over the weekend.

Tony Parker and Axelle Francine were publicly together soon after the NBA player and Longoria divorced. Longoria, on the other hand, has been linked to various men since she split from Parker. Until her relationship with Baston, she wasn’t with anyone for any real length of time.
