Kate Gosselin ‘Ditched’ By Bodyguard: Did Steve Neild Leave Kate Because Of Wife’s Ultimatum?
The Kate Gosselin drama has resurfaced today with (relatively old) news that her bodyguard (and rumored boy-toy) Steve Neild has quit. According to She Knows: Reality TV Magazine, Kate’s supporters are leaving her left and right. Ever since Robert Hoffman’s explosive tell-all was released, Kate has supposedly been having a hard time keeping people by her side. That is, of course, if you believe everything you read.
Despite In Touch Weekly claiming that Neild was given a sort of ultimatum by his wife (basically telling him to quit working for Kate or else), it seems as though Neild was just ready to take his career to another level.
“To be fair, Steve’s departure may not necessarily have been spurred by a falling out with Kate. Rumor has it, the bodyguard decided to take on a more prestigious position with Prudential Associates. It’s understandable that he’d want to step up his career, particularly after years of standing by as Kate goes about her daily business.”
Kate Gosselin was (and probably still is) very close to Steve Neild and his family. The reality star trusted Neild to keep her and her children safe, and he was there for her during a very crazy time in her life. Kate had just got a divorce from her husband, Jon Gosselin, and her career was taking a turn for the better. She was on Dancing With The Stars, and she really started her transformation from a mom of eight with a television show to a celebrity. It’s something that caused major controversy for Kate, but Neild stuck by her side, regardless.
It is presumed that Kate has hired or will hire another bodyguard to travel with, but it’s not going to be easy, especially after Hoffman’s awful book. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Hoffman tried to tear Kate to shreds.
Those who believe the words that Hoffman wrote probably won’t want to work for Kate. That could make hiring someone — and keeping them on board — rather difficult. Of course, believing everything you read isn’t a good thing either, so perhaps Kate will find someone who is good at his (or her) job and will want to work without getting involved in the drama that seems to surround her life at every bend.
Would you want to work for Kate Gosselin after reading the things that Robert Hoffman wrote about her? Do you think that she still has a good relationship with Steve Neild?
