WWE News: WWE Diva AJ Lee Has A Unique New Policy When Taking Pictures With Fans
AJ Lee is one of the hottest Divas the WWE has had in some time, and in far more than just her looks. She is clearly one of the best in the ring and, character wise, she can hang with the best of any character in WWE, including men. AJ went to the top with her “crazy chick” gimmick dating back to 2012, and from then on she was able to work with the top names in WWE.
She was so popular the WWE eventually allowed her to capture the WWE Diva’s Championship, She pretty much cleaned out the Division before running into newcomer Paige, who beat her for the title the night after WrestleMania. AJ wanted to go on break to get married and, of course, in order to do that, she had to drop the title. The newly-married Lee eventually returned from her break to capture the title back from Paige after an over two month reign.
AJ Lee was able to gain even more popularity from this, if you can believe it. However, with popularity comes problems.
The WWE Diva loves meeting with fans and having fun. The problem is that sometimes things can go a bit too far. There is always that one guy, right? The Diva has a new “no touching” policy that she has put in place. She will take pictures with anyone of course, but the no touching policy is in place due to a male fan inappropriately touching her in the past. It seems to only be for male fans, however.
Reports have come to light that while male fans cannot touch, female fans have had their hands on AJ in pictures lately. I wonder if they inappropriately touched and she didn’t care? Anyway, the ideology is that this policy is done as a way to protect AJ from feeling weird and like a piece of meat. Not many have a problem with it, but it is certainly new to the fold and disappointing for some fans out there. Sorry guys.
The main issue with the request is that most pictures taken usually have to do with getting close to someone. Most of the time, one touches. So a lot of the pictures male fans take with AJ may seem a bit weird due to this rule. However, at least she is willing to take the pictures. Maybe the policy will fade after a while.
The report on this came to light when a male fan asked to take a picture at a live event in Texas, and the Diva agreed on the condition she was not touched. The fan agreed, but made it known that the policy is very much out there.
Some other people have had this sort of thing happen before due to the craziness of fans. AJ Lee’s popularity really affects her. The WWE Diva married now former WWE Superstar CM Punk back in June, and most saw her return to WWE as a surprise. The reason for this was that there was a big rumor that AJ was pregnant, but those reports were proven very false when AJ came back and began to wrestle. While her husband Punk may not be back in WWE ever ever again, AJ is having fun. Her contract is not set to come up for a while, so we will see more and more of AJ in the coming months. Let’s see how long it will last.
