Justin Bieber ‘Tweaking Orlando To Look Bad Ass?’ TMZ Who You Kidding?
Is TMZ trying to prolong the Justin Bieber-Orlando Bloom fight frenzy by claiming the singer was trying to be a bad ass by posting retaliatory Instagram photos of Bloom’s separated supermodel wife Miranda Kerr and a later “crying” snap of the actor? We ask because there haven’t been any new Instagram posts by the singer aimed at the Brit.
There’s no question that Justin Bieber reacted impulsively in posting on Instagram following Orlando Bloom’s swings at him – reportedly twice – at the Cipriani restaurant in Ibiza, Spain early Wednesday [local time].
It’s alleged the singer made a rude comment about Bloom’s separated from supermodel wife Miranda Kerr — after Bieber was himself disrespected — which reportedly provoked the Brit to hurdle a sofa to lunge at the 20-year-old with his hand.
Reports on Bieber’s alleged comment vary from “Say hi to Miranda for me,” to “Tell Miranda what’s up,” “She’s good,” to “what’s up b***h?.” and it’s possible none of these remarks are accurate or made by the singer.
Other reports state Justin was “cordial” and polite to Orlando and only made a rude comment after Bloom and DiCaprio rebuffed him.
Shortly after Bloom’s bodyguard-deflected strike — which was captured on video and shows the Lord of the Rings star fronting up to a startled Bieber — the Canadian took to Instagram to reply in perhaps the only way he thought he could, given that he is on two-years probation after pleading no contest in a Los Angeles vandalism case.
Within hours of the explosive scuffle, Justin posted a bikini-clad photo of Kerr to Instagram then quickly deleted it.
It was a clear dig at Bloom, and not only reinforces eyewitness’ claims that Orlando’s rage at Bieber was over Kerr, it also strongly suggests rumors that the singer and supermodel flirted (or more) at and perhaps after, the November 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show they met at — may be true.
At the time, Bieber would have been a 18-year-old boy. Kerr, a married, 29-year-old mother-of-one and “face” of multiple brands. She previously denied any impropriety and appears to be getting a “pass” in terms of her alleged responsibility in this mess.

Hours after his deleted Kerr-missive, Justin posted a photo of Orlando crying at an afterparty for his Broadway debut in Romeo and Juliet last September.
But, with respect to TMZ, who now claim sources — tellingly, vaguely “around” the singer — support a “bad ass” theory that Bieber believes he “won” the fight and posted the said photos because he’s “loving this”; that may be an assumptive load of cobblers.
From the sorry-ass look on Bieber’s face in video footage outside Cipriani that the website posted, to the clearly #TeamBloom temperature on the web, late night talk shows, memes, a petition to declare National Orlando Bloom Day, calls for the actor’s knighthood, and celebrity reactions — there’s no way Bieber can seriously believe he “won” the fight, or think anyone else believes he did.
Bieber’s photos of Kerr and Bloom are more likely the actions of an embarrassed youngster trying to save a little face – and yes, get a few jabs in. But even a newbie psych would read the singer’s social media snark as signs of an adolescent-like, bruised ego after coming off worse in a fight. Not someone who thinks they’re a “bad ass.”
Even more tellingly, Bieber hasn’t posted any further Instagrams directed at Bloom. Which is not to say he won’t, or even that he hasn’t considered it. But the fact is, he hasn’t.
Moreover, recent pictures and videos of Bieber clubbing with dance titan David Guetta, jet-skiing with Michelle Rodriguez, hanging with model Shanina Shaik and – this just in – kissing a Playboy model on his yacht in Ibiza — suggests the singer is trying to put his bust-up with Bloom behind him.
The only fly in that ointment is a new report from Page Six, which claims Bieber’s camp had Bloom – a late arrival – barred from a star-studded 40th birthday party of Givenchy Creative Director and designer Riccardo Tisci on Friday.
If so, it’s only a matter of time before the Lord of the Rings star returns in kind, but it’s likely the reported barring was a logical attempt to prevent another violent confrontation.

So we’re going to call it: TMZ are stoking the story. That’s what they do when there’s no new news to break on an item, and they are recognized experts at both.
But it’s dangerous and — especially for Bieber, who is on probation – irresponsible to incite more cyber hate at a too-focused-on youngster by deliberately projecting “bad ass,” “trying to be hard,” “he’s loving it” overlays on a fire that needs less not more fuel.
Step off the pedal, news cycle. Bieber and Bloom are both still out in Ibiza. Further inflaming could have much more serious consequences than near-punches and an allegedly deserved dressing-down of someone who – emotionally speaking – is a kid.
There’s real violence here. And there’s nothing “bad ass” about trying to create more.
