Hamas, Not Israel, Responsible For Attacks On Gaza Hospital and Clinic – Part Of Propaganda War

A recent explosion at Gaza’s largest hospital, the Shifa Hospital, has much of the world blaming Israel, a situation that Hamas is quick to echo, but evidence is emerging that Israel’s denial of responsibility is the truth. Combined with Hamas shielding much of its leadership in bunkers underneath the hospital, a picture emerges that validates Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims that Hamas has been hiding behind innocent civilians all along.

It is a situation that should never happen. Hospitals should be neutral zones, a place where people can recover and receive treatment without fear of attack from the outside. But that isn’t the situation in Gaza where, according to MSF, “hospitals are not the safe havens they should be.”

On Monday around 5 pm local time, an explosion rocked the Shifa Hospital, injuring at least two, according to NBC. Soon after, another explosion hit the Al-Shati refugee camp, killing at least 10 children who were playing there. Hamas blamed Israel. Israel blamed Hamas, saying that the explosions were results of misfires by Hamas or Islamic Jihadists.

The Palestinians blamed Israel and the Prime Minister: “We came out of the mosque when I saw the children playing with their toy guns. Seconds later a missile landed. May God punish… Netanyahu.”

The Israeli Defense Force has denied that they fired missiles on those locations. But there is evidence that Hamas or jihadists did.

Former U.S. Congressman and retired Lieutenant Colonel Allen West reveals a screenshot taken from IDF radar that clearly shows that the missiles that struck the hospital and refugee camp originated within Gaza, not Israel. Their flight trajectory shows that the missiles were over Gaza airspace at all times. Allen West writes:

“As a former Artillery officer, the one thing I loved about artillery is that the data never lies. What I mean is that with our ability to use physics and math, you can always ascertain the truth about the point of origin and point of impact of a mortar, artillery shell, rocket, or missile. And with today’s counter artillery/rocket/missile radar systems, it’s almost child’s play.”

The photo shows that the Hamas missiles were not actually headed in Israel’s direction, except for one that was intercepted on its way to Ashkelon in Israel.

Allen West continues: “So when Hamas claims (and the media parrots) that Israel is shooting rockets at neighborhoods and hospitals, you just need to review the data. And what it reveals is lies and a media cover-up.”

West does not speculate on the cause of the rockets going “errant,” whether it is human error or mechanical malfunction. Or something else.

Information has also come to light today, and reported by The Inquisitr, that “the explosives that killed three Israeli soldiers earlier this week in Gaza were booby-trapped into the walls of a U.N. clinic.” According to The Times of Israel, the soldiers were investigating a tunnel that was under a United Nations Relief clinic, proceeding cautiously so as not to cause unnecessary damage to the structure that was reportedly (deceptively) a medical clinic. The clinic had been rigged with explosives that took the lives of three soldiers and injured a number 15 others.

Then, Hamas blamed Israel.

Part of the strategy of Hamas is to take the sympathies of the public and the Western value for life and use it against Israel in an all-out propaganda war. From the statements coming out of the U.N. and the White House, as well as much of the media, that strategy appears to be effective.

While Prime Minister Netanyahu works hard to minimize civilian casualties, Hamas continues to put the Palestinian people in harm’s way, as evidenced by video footage from IDF, reported by The Inquisitr, of more than a dozen rockets being fired from locations within residential neighborhoods and even schools.

Despite Nancy Pelosi’s bizarre comments to the contrary, Hamas is certainly not a “humanitarian organization.”

Brigitte Gabriel grew up in Palestine and recalls her family being used as human shields in the fight against Israel. She appeared on The Kelly File with Megan Kelly, describing her memories of the terrorists launching rockets at Israel from in front of her house, while her mother would beg them not to. After firing, the militants would move the rocket launchers, so that Israel would fire on the location the rocket came from, killing innocents in the process.

“The Palestinians have perfected the propaganda war,” Gabriel says. “They use their own children as disposable collateral in order to win the war of public opinion against Israel.” Brigette Gabriel continues in defense of Israel:

“Israel is always careful with civilian lives. Israel goes out of its way…. What other country drops leaflets by the thousands, warning civilians to leave because they are going to bomb in 48 hours?… If the civilians do not leave, we need to ask ‘why?'”

It is no secret that one of the main command bunkers utilized by the top terrorists in Hamas is located underneath Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, according to Tablet Magazine, which reports that Hamas often uses that spot to meet with journalists.

This is a little factoid commonly left out of most media reports, but it is common knowledge among those on the ground in Israel and Gaza.

On July 15, the Washington Post included a reference to Shifa Hospital, “the hospital, which has become a de facto headquarters for Hamas leaders, who can be seen in the hallways and offices.”

A little-viewed clip from PBS shows intimidation by Hamas of hospital staff at Shifa Hospital. The video from 2006 clearly shows militants roaming the halls with weapons, and threatening a doctor.

It is not a new practice for Hamas militants to use the Shifa Hospital as cover. They have been doing it for some time.

Hamas uses hospitals, schools, and residential areas, banking on the probability that Israel is less likely to fire upon them, knowing that if they do fire on the militants there, world opinion will quickly condemn Israel, rather than the unscrupulous behavior of Hamas, who hides behind the innocent. It is time to place the blame for civilian casualties where it belongs: on Hamas.
