Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are reportedly looking forward to a “fresh start” in the new luxury Beverly Hills condo they just purchased.

And a fresh start is just what the celebrity couple needs, having been plagued with all types of vicious rumors regarding anything from cheating allegations, to drunken arguments, and even alleged video footage taken by Portia in order to expose Ellen, if the need should ever have arisen, at a later date.

These days, the public is so used to reading negative stuff about the DeGeneres-de Rossi marriage that it’s nice to finally be able to report some good news about them for once.

Radar Online reported that the couple recently bought their new home to add to their existing impressive portfolio of prestigious properties, but plan to reside in it as part of their renewal of marriage vows, which was also reported recently.

A source told the publication:

“Ellen and Portia just purchased an entire floor of a luxury building in Beverly Hills. It is very centrally located, right in the heart of everything that they do in Hollywood. They still have the land and the space they love in Santa Barbara, but this spot offers the convenience that they need.”

With any luck, the move to the new condo will be just what Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi need to revitalize their marriage; the new pad has anything and everything the two women might need.

The property boasts a full service concierge, 24-hour staff, a fitness center and pool, and offers stunning views.

It’s no secret that Ellen is really the property mogul of the two, and purchased another property earlier in the year. Some reports have suggested that the new purchases are a sign that things are looking up in the personal lives of the celebrity couple.

The source continued, “It’s a good sign that they are going to stay together. Ellen and Portia have always loved working on a home project together! Maybe buying a house is therapeutic for them, enough to let them forget their troubles and how suited they are to each other.”
