Former “Gossip Girl” Jessica Szohr Joins Twitter, Tweets Pic

It took a while but former Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr joined Twitter on Tuesday and tweeted a never before seen photo of herself to verify her account, telling her fans “See! It’s really me!”

After joining the network Szohr’s celebrity friends were quick to welcome her including Brittany Snow who tweeted:

“Welcome to Twitter an ol’ friend and one of the coolest chicks I know.”

While friend JoAnna Garcia added:

“Whoop whoop! Welcome Jess!”

At this time we’re still not sure how Jessica Szohr will use the network to further her career, back in May she told Us Weekly:

“I’m trying a lot of new things! I just started guitar lessons for a movie called Light Years that I’m going to do,” while adding, “I play a kind of singer-songwriter, which is funny, because I don’t sing! And I have another movie called I Don’t Know How She Does It with Sarah Jessica Parker.”
