ISIS Video Emerges Showing 50 Beheaded Soldiers With Heads On Poles, A ‘Disgrace To Humanity’
Muslim terrorists in Syria have released a disgusting video clip of 50 beheaded Syrian soldiers on poles, in a public street in the northern province of Raqqa.
ISIS, the extreme militant group that make even Al-Qaeda look mild by comparison, seized the Syrian Army base in Raqqa, wreaking havoc and killing more than 85 soldiers, while 200 are still unaccounted for.
The Syrian Human Rights Observatory said at least 50 of the soldiers have been executed, with many of them having been beheaded, along with footage showing some of the decapitated bodies.
An ISIS militant, who walks around filming the heads on poles and spikes at the Syrian army’s Division 17 base, can be heard in the background, talking in Arabic as if giving an ISIS “tour of things to come” in Syria. At least two of the Syrian soldiers killed there were crucified by ISIS.
In other images posted to social media ISIS terrorists can be seen inside the army base in control of tanks, trucks, and large supplies of munitions. In another image, militants can be seen burning a portrait of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Rami Abdel Rahman, the head of the British-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory, told reporters that the fate of some 200 Syrian troops is still unknown.
He said that troops “[w]ithdrew on Friday to safe places — either to nearby villages whose residents oppose IS or to nearby Brigade 93 — but the fate of some 200 remains unknown. Some of the executed troops were beheaded, and their bodies and severed heads put on display in Raqqa city.”
He added that the display of heads was a message from ISIS to the people of Raqqa: “To tell them it is strong, that it isn’t going anywhere, and to terrify opponents.”
As well as killing thousands of people in their wake, ISIS have also declared an Islamic “caliphate” throughout the region.
Syria is currently in the grip of a complex civil war in which several armed groups, including Islamic extremists, are fighting government forces in a conflict that has seen more than 170,000 people killed, over a third of them civilians.
