Megan Fox took a moment from shooting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to share how she shed her post-baby weight just five months after giving birth to her second baby. E! News was able to talk briefly with the 28-year-old actress while attending Comic-Con in San Diego, California on Thursday.
The actress has the same issues as anyone else when it comes to weight loss. Okay, that might be a stretch. Fox looks amazing no matter what. In Hollywood, however, even an extra ounce of weight isn’t good. She does say that it was a whole lot easier to lose when she was younger, as most can well relate too!
Megan Fox tells E! :
“Well, let me tell you, the first time I didn’t do anything, I was just lucky and I was younger, and then the second time it wasn’t coming off the same way and I had to eliminate bread from my diet. It’s typical but I’m on that high-protein, low-carbohydrate, very low-sugar diet.”
Surprisingly, Fox tells us how she really feels about the post-baby diet she’s on.
“It’s kind of awful but it’s what I’m doing,” she added.
The sizzling star has two children with actor, Brian Austin Green — Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 5 months. Fox opened up about what precautions she had to take while being pregnant.
“You’re kind of fragile in the first trimester. You have to watch the heat that you’re exposed to and you’re supposed to sleep extra. There’s no time or room for that when you’re filming a movie, so it’s a little stressful.”
It sounds as if everyone close to Megan looked after her and made sure she was taking good care of herself. The actress says:
“Everyone, as a team, had to unite and make sure that I was safe and healthy all the time. It added a little bit of an extra challenge, but I don’t think it took away from the experience on screen.”
Megan’s movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle s will appear in theaters August 8th.
In other news out about Megan Fox, an Inquisitr article reported on her interview with People magazine about the fact she believes in Bigfoot and is “convinced” that she could find him.
The Paleo diet Megan Fox uses is also known as the “caveman diet,” “Stone Age diet,” and “hunter-gatherer diet.” It basically consists of cutting out all processed foods and avoiding sugar.
