Scott Disick Swears Off Drinking After Being Hospitalized

Scott Disick has struggled with alcohol for quite some time now, but he claims he has had his wakeup call after a recent incident led him to be hospitalized with alcohol poisoning. Scott said he learned his lesson when the incident occurred last month, but can he stick to his word?

In an earlier report by The Inquisitr, Scott Disick got “drunk out of his mind” while partying at a nightclub in the Hamptons on June 22. The reality star reportedly got so drunk that he could hardly speak a full sentence and was taken to the ER at Southampton Hospital where doctors confirmed that he was suffering from alcohol poisoning.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred days after longtime girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, reportedly threw Scott out of their Hamptons rental. This incident was reportedly enough to scare Disick straight because an insider reportedly told Us Weekly that the reality star swore off alcohol at least until after Kourtney gives birth to baby number three.

“He stopped drinking cold turkey — and promised he won’t drink again until after Kourtney gives birth,” the source tells Us Weekly. “Scott knew he had hit rock bottom.”

The Inquisitr reported that sources are saying that Scott hasn’t had a drink yet, and that he was reportedly seeking counseling from Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. Can Scott get through Kourtney’s entire pregnancy without taking another sip of alcohol? TMZ is saying no.

According to the report by TMZ, Scott Disick has already backed out on that promise and has been caught drinking yet again. Scott reportedly was partying with French Montana and Fat Joe at J. Lo’s 45th birthday bash.

In a picture which he posted to his Instagram account on July 24, Scott can be seen holding on to a wine glass, though to be fair, it’s unclear as to what is actually in the glass. What has many perplexed is the fact that Scott posted the photo himself, so fans are asking, was he actually drinking?

Many believe that Scott Disick wouldn’t be careless enough to post a photograph of him drinking on his public social media accounts, especially after reportedly swearing off all alcohol until after Kourtney gives birth.

Can Scott party with his friends and keep himself sober? It’s proven difficult for him in the past, but maybe the June incident was enough to teach him to stay clean. It would seem like Scott has a lot to lose if he doesn’t keep his promise this time around.
