‘RHOA’ Star Porsha Stewart’s Ex-Husband Is In Hot Water Over Missed Tax Payments

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart was shocked when she learned that her husband had filed for divorce. She claimed she learned of the news via Twitter, but Kordell Stewart continues to say that his wife had been asking for the divorce for a while.

While filming the show, Kordell talked to Peter Thomas, Cynthia Bailey’s husband, about their marital situation. He revealed that Porsha had been skipping out on paying property taxes. He claimed that Porsha was in a financial mess when he met her. Stewart has never said anything about her financial situation. But as it turns out, he may have a poor memory in regards to his own finances.

According to a new Wetpaint report, Porsha Stewart isn’t the only one who has missed important deadlines in Georgia. Her ex-husband is currently in hot water for missing his tax payments back in 2012. Back then, his bill was $8,532, but due to interest payments on this amount, the current bill is closer to $13,240.88.

Kordell has said nothing about the tax lien, but one can imagine that Porsha enjoys the news. During their highly publicized divorce, Stewart walked away with practically nothing. She left the marriage with her personal property and a single Mercedes. Kordell, on the other hand, kept their large house, two cars, and all of his personal NFL cash.

Porsha’s ex-husband may not have an issue paying such a large bill. He does have a net worth of $16 million, but he didn’t dish out any money to Porsha Stewart after the divorce. One of the reasons why he didn’t pay Porsha during their divorce was because she didn’t have a prenup in place.

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, he was quick to put Porsha Stewart in a bad light, revealing that she hadn’t paid her bills. Maybe he wanted to improve his image after she tried to tarnish it. But he wasn’t quick to share that he hadn’t dished up his own tax payments a couple of years ago. Now, he looks like a hypocrite.

Porsha’s divorce was highly publicized because of her various comments about him. According to The Inquisitr, Stewart questioned his sexuality on the show, which didn’t sit well with him. He issued a statement, saying that he was not into men. But Porsha Stewart and her family had been questioning his sexuality, because he didn’t always seem to be into his wife. Plus, he wasn’t thrilled about the idea of starting a family.

He has not issued a statement about owing the money to the State of Georgia, but one can imagine that he will simply pay the bill and move on from this. Do you think Porsha Stewart will get joy from this news?
