Lisa Vanderpump Calls New ‘Housewife’ ‘Opinionated,’ Says Last Season Of ‘RHOBH’ Was ‘Awful
Lisa Vanderpump has already started filming the new season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, and she’s got a lot to say! The restaurant/bar owner sat down for a chat with Marc Malkin from E! News. The reality star has been learning how to incorporate new Housewife, Lisa Rinna, into her “reality show” life, and has been trying to move forward from last season — which wasn’t the best.
“Last season was awful and I think the viewers were very uncomfortable about that and I did feel like quitting after that, but time is a great healer and after six months, I kind of reconnected with a couple of them and I thought, ‘OK, I’ll go back in. I was under contract with Bravo…Will I regret it? I don’t know.'”
Lisa Vanderpump wants to have a good season — with less tears and less drama — but who knows how it is all going to play out? Lisa has some new people to deal with — but the women who are still on board may cause the same old problems regardless. Even still, Lisa seems positive about the whole thing, and that’s definitely a good thing. Most of the women (Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Yolanda Foster, Brandi Glanville) don’t want to argue and fight — but everyone knows that a little bit of drama makes for a great reality series. And so it goes.
In regard to Lisa Rinna, Vanderpump told Malkin that she has been friends with the actress for years — and she seems to get along with her really well. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Rinna has already taped some segments for the show and is officially part of the cast.
“I’ve known Lisa [Rinna] for 25 years. I love her and I have an authentic relationship with her… I do think she’s very opinionated and vocal and I think that’s a good thing for reality television or you fall asleep.”
Lisa Vanderpump has had some pretty bumpy relationships over the years. As Reality Tea points out, there are a number of people that Lisa could have “reconnected” with… perhaps her former BFF Brandi Glanville (yeah right). Or maybe Lisa was finally able to move past her bumps with Kyle Richards, who knows?
Needless to say, the new season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is sure to be a great season. Will you be tuning in? Are you glad that Lisa decided to stay on the show?
