‘RHONY’ Star Aviva Drescher Throwing Leg Was ‘Hilarious’ Says Sonja

Aviva Drescher may have filmed The Real Housewives of New York for two seasons, but she was quite absent this past season. The other ladies got along great, and often attended events or went on trips without Drescher. Throughout the season, Aviva had excuses for everything, so when all of the ladies were placed in the same room during the season finale party, their conversation quickly spiraled out of control.

During the finale, Aviva Drescher confronted the other women about her various illnesses. Earlier, she had claimed that she had asthma, which was why she couldn’t go to Montana. But during the finale, she said that her doctor had lied to her and had put her on unnecessary medication.

But rather than support Drescher, the other ladies found her story to be too much. Aviva flipped out and threw her X-ray pictures at Heather Thomson, who felt Drescher was lying and acting fake. Then, Aviva removed her prosthetic leg and threw it across the room, saying that the only thing fake about her is her leg.

According to her final Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New York, Sonja Morgan actually gives props to Aviva for standing up for herself. But Sonja may agree with the viewers that removing the leg was unnecessary. “I thought it was hilarious when she took out her X-rays and then took out her leg and threw it on the table,” Sonja reveals. “I’m glad I warned her that the girls were saying she was faking her illness so she could be prepared.”

It is no secret that the ladies are tired of Drescher’s various excuses. After Aviva accused Carole Radziwill of not writing her own books, many of the housewives lost respect for her. It seemed like such a pointless character attack. Heather is one of the women who would be happy to leave her friendship with Aviva behind.

However, the season finale wasn’t all about Aviva Drescher’s unsettled feuds with the other women. Sonja herself had to deal with Harry Dubin and his decision to leave Carole’s birthday party with LuAnn de Lesseps. This happened just minutes after Harry gave Sonja a commitment ring, as explained by Inquisitr. That was another party where Aviva was missing in action.

The reunion for this season will be interesting, as there will be many topics that Drescher won’t be able to discuss given her absence.
