Paris Hilton, 33, is speaking out once again; this time in an interview with UK’s Telegraph .
In the interview, Paris wants to convey that she’s not as high and mighty as some – including her – have led us to believe over the years. The once proclaimed “closest thing to American royalty” – (ahem, Hilton herself was the one who said that) – is trying to convince us that she’s just one of the gals.
“The princess Barbie [image] is a fun character but in real life I’m very chill and down to earth normal.”
Reportedly, while giving this statement, Paris Hilton was reclining on a black leather sofa in a Juicy Couture tracksuit in the private nightclub she has in her home.
Paris Hilton’s home is a reportedly a shrine to – who else? – Paris Hilton. Almost every square inch of wall space is adorned with an image of Paris Hilton. Images of Paris greeting her fans, Hilton with Elizabeth Taylor, Hilton on the pillows… even one entire wall is composed of thousands of tiny images of Hilton that compose one giant picture of Paris.
Lot’s of fun has been poked at Paris Hilton over the years, but it doesn’t seem to be anything that the hotel empire heiress can’t handle.
“If people want to be mean, that’s their problem. It used to be really hurtful. I would call and cry to my mom all the time but now I just laugh.”
There was no laughing in 2004 after the sex tape Paris Hilton made with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon went viral.
“It was devastating because that was someone I was with for a few years. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully trust any man again after that. It was just the most hurtful and awful thing that anyone could do to a little girl. I was very young, it wasn’t my fault.”
Paris Hilton , who is an Aquarian and a big believer in astrology, went on to talk about her spiritual ties to Albert Einstein.
“We [Aquarians] are social butterflies, humanitarians, geniuses: Einstein was one.”
Unfortunately, Paris Hilton’s statement is incorrect. Being born on March 14th, 1879, Albert Einstein was actually a Pisces.
Launching herself as an elite DJ last year at the Amnesia Nightclub in Ibiza, Paris Hilton proclaimed the experience as highly successful and is planning on returning again this summer, according to her website. The second single – Come Alive – from Paris Hilton’s second studio album was just released on July 8th – as was the video:
