Adam Levine To Wed Victoria Secret Model Behati Prinsloo This Saturday
It looks like Adam Levine will be a married man before the next season premiere of NBC’s The Voice airs this September.
PopDust reports that not only is Adam Levine set to walk down the aisle to marry his fiancee Behati Prinsloo this Saturday, but he’s also finally named his best man. Well, his Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine has spilled the beans about the man who will stand by Levine’s side when he exchanges vows with his fiancee: reportedly it will be the band’s very own keyboardist Jesse Carmichael. Recently, James Valentine had the following insight to offer about the Carmichael’s role as Levine’s best man:
I think he’s really excited. I expected him to be more nervous. They’re very amped up. They’re very happy. It’s going to be really fun. Those guys go back. What’s interesting about the band is, I’ve been with the band for 15 years but I’m still one of the ‘new’ members!
As it turns out, Levine and Carmichael go way back. They’ve been best buddies since they each were 12-years-old, reports ABC News. But Valentine won’t be the odd-man-out. He will also be part of the ceremony. He reportedly had the following to say about his role in Adam Levine’s wedding ceremony:
It’s just another gig for me. I’m gonna be playing some solo acoustic guitar during the ceremony when people are walking [in].
According to Access Hollywood, the nuptials will take place this Saturday at a super exotic location in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Behati, who is 25, and Adam, 35, got engaged last summer. Details are still forthcoming, but it looks like the couple will tie the knot in front of a group of their closest friends and family members. Some of the guests who are reported to have RSVP’d to this affair include Behati’s fellow Victoria’s Secret models Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton, as well as Jonah Hill, whose brother Jordan manages Maroon 5.
As for what the bride-to-be will be wearing? We’re not certain just yet, but it most likely will not be this:
It seems that Behati Prinsloo had the right stuff to make Adam change his tune about marriage. He famously spoke out against marriage last year, but soon recanted his distaste for the idea after he put a ring on the Victoria Secret model’s finger.
As for plans to settle down once they’ve wed? James Valentine offered the following anecdote:
Oh no, not at all. They will not! They’re so much fun to be around together. I’m very happy for them.
This will be the first marriage for both Behati and Adam.
