Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are having a baby! Chances are you’re still trying to wrap your head around the news, especially if you were hoping to give the gifted actor his first child. Sorry, ladies. Mendes beat you to it.

As the world impatiently awaits the arrival of what’s sure to be an unbelievably beautiful child, tabloids and celebrity gossip websites are scooping up every last tidbit of information about Eva Mendes and her Place Beyond the Pines co-star. In fact, the folks over at Us Weekly recently got their hands on some info about how Ryan is pampering Eva while she’s carrying his baby. “Hey Girl,” indeed.

Although Mendes and Gosling haven’t officially shared any information about the pregnancy as of this writing, this isn’t stopping anonymous sources from coughing up info and cashing paychecks from opportunistic publications. How these insiders are acquiring this information is truly anyone’s guess at this point.

Where what the Us Weekly source had to say:

“Ryan goes out and gets the groceries. [Eva’s] been wanting pasta, and he’s cooking her meals. Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be.”

While the rest of the world is celebrating the arrival of Eva Mendes’ Gosling baby, apparently Rachel McAdams is nursing a broken heart. The Mean Girls actress and her Notebook co-star dated for a while, though the ridiculously good-looking couple ended up going their separate ways. According to — you guessed it — anonymous sources, McAdams is reportedly very jealous that Mendes is pregnant.

The website explains:

“The magazine claims that the couple finally called it quits because Rachel was not ready to have children with Ryan, so the news that he is expecting with Eva must be an extraordinarily large blow to her heart.”

Even if McAdams get queasy at the very the thought of Eva Mendes carrying her ex-boyfriend’s baby, the world can’t wait to see this little bundle of joy. Mania surrounding the couple and their child has reached such a fever pitch that a forensic artist from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children created fake baby photos.
