Man Spends $170,000 On Micropenis Enlargement After Remortgaging His House

A man in Australia raised $170,000 by remortgaging his house in order to pay for a second penis enlargement following a botched first attempt.

In medical terms, a penis which is less than 2.75 inches (7 cm) long when erect is considered to be a micropenis, a rare condition affecting only one percent of men globally. In 2012 the man, who is remaning anonymous for obvious reasons, spent a considerable amount of cash to have his penis extended and made wider.

However, the procedure didn’t quite go to plan and he saw little to no improvement in the length and width of his penis. Due to the fact that a ligament regrafted itself onto a dermal fat graft he has been unable to have sexual intercourse since his operation.

He told Ninemsn:

“My penis is basically infant sized. Pre-surgery, I was two to three centimetres flaccid and I’m now four centimeters. My erection is probably around seven centimeters.”

The average range of penis size for Australian men is between 5.7 and 6.8 inches (14 to 17 cm) when erect.

Even though the man is fit and healthy he spoke to reporters about the devastating effect the condition has on his everyday life – obviously including his sex life – confidence, friendships, interaction with others, depression, and low self-esteem. In his youth it had even led to him being bullied at school

In his whole life, he only had sex twice. The first time was when he lost his virginity at 24 to his girlfriend of three months. He then waited another six years before he had sex again. He told reporters, “It has prevented me from doing or experiencing a lot of things,”

He found it particularly hard when it came to showering after football practice: “Going in for a shower in groups of men doesn’t happen,’ he said.

He also spoke about the challenges he faces when it comes to talking with other men about his condition: “It’s difficult to have a conversation about it that doesn’t descend into smut. We put too much pressure on men, the same way women put too much emphasis on box gap or boob size or bikini bridges,” he said.

Hopefully, the latest round of surgery will be successful and produce the desired results as the man with the micropenis doesn’t want to have to find another $170,000 for even more surgery.
