Brody Jenner attended the wedding of Reggie Bush and Lilit Avagyan this weekend — which is cool. Save for the fact that Bush used to date Jenner’s half-sister Kim Kardashian… and Jenner didn’t attend Kim’s wedding to Kanye West back in May. According to Us Weekly, Brody and his girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, were guests at Bush’s nuptials which took place at the Grand Del Mar in San Diego. Many were surprised to learn that Brody and Reggie are friends — and that Brody attended Reggie’s wedding but skipped out on Kim’s.
Despite media-created controversy, a source explained:
“Brody and Reggie are really good friends. He invited him months ago with a guest. In terms of Kim, one has nothing to do with the other.”
Brody Jenner is pretty close with his Kardashian “sisters” even though there have been some waves in the relationship ocean. Through the years (since Brody’s dad, Bruce Jenner, married Kardashian matriarch, Kris) there have been some problems between the families, but nothing too major. In fact, Bruce Jenner’s two sons (Brody and Brandon) were involved in some Keeping Up With The Kardashians episodes last season. The two families put on a united front and seemed to be getting along swimmingly.
It is unknown how long Brody and Reggie have been friends, but it does seem a bit odd that Brody didn’t make it to Kim’s wedding, something that still hasn’t really been worked out — Brody says that “work conflicts” kept him from flying to Florence for Kimye’s nuptials. According to a poll taken by TMZ , 73 percent of people (based on over 100,000 votes) feel that Brody’s attendance at Reggie’s wedding was a “shot” directly aimed at Kim . What do you think?
Brody Jenner also made headline news last month when it was revealed that he used to date his brother’s wife. In a report by The Inquisitr , readers learned that Brody and Brandon’s wife , Leah, had a relationship when the two were really young.
Leah explained:
“I met Brandon through Brody. We went to school together when we were 11. Okay, 11. You don’t kiss, you don’t make out, you don’t hold hands, you beat each other up, you play basketball. So he was my boyfriend in the fifth grade, Brody was [but] we never kissed.”
While some people are debating Brody’s loyalties at this point, others are more focused on his girlfriend — since splitting up from Avril Lavigne, Brody hasn’t really made anything “official” with anyone else, until now.
