Jon Voight Calls Democratic Party ‘A Very Negative Force’
Jon Voight is known for being very outspoken about his feelings. Whether he’s talking about his relationship with his daughter Angelina Jolie, or his right wing views, Voight knows how to snag a headline. Keeping consistent with his message, the actor is taking President Obama up to task yet again.
During an appearance on Mike Huckabee’s Fox News television program the Oscar winner slammed the president while calling the Democratic Party “a very negative force.”
Jon Voight didn’t hold back as his grievances with the Democratic Party targeted issues like Iraq, Benghazi, treatment of war veterans, immigration, and the recent Hobby Lobby case.
“Five years ago, I stated that Obama would take the country apart piece-by-piece, that he would cause a civil war in this country.”
One of Hollywood’s most outspoken Republican actors continued to express his grief.
“In hindsight we can see how many things have come to pass. My greatest heartache is that we sacrificed thousands of our American heroes liberating Iraq. Only for President Obama to pull out all our troops, leaving Iraq now to be taken over by terrorists.”
As far as what he thinks about the Democratic Party and what they’re teaching young women, Angelina Jolie’s father said:
“[Congresswoman] Debbie Wasserman Schultz is the gang leader for all the wrong information to our young women. Convincing them that Republicans are stopping their liberties and freedoms of reproduction when the truth is, as the Supreme Court upheld, that religious freedoms are being infringed upon.”
Here’s what Twitter has to say about Voight’s speech.

This is a far cry from Jolie and Brad Pitt’s liberal values. Although Jolie and Voight don’t see eye to eye on political issues, back in 2012 Voight told a local Tampa news station:.
“She’s a pretty smart gal, Angie. We’ve gotten on the right track together. Brad’s a good guy too. I really don’t talk politics with them because I don’t want to lecture them. Nobody likes a lecturer.”
When Voight isn’t voicing his political beliefs he can be watched on the critically acclaimed show Ray Donovan. He was just recently nominated for an Emmy for the show.
