Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Dueling: Don’t-You-Wish-Your-Rebound-Date-Was Hot-Like-Me?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are trying to make each other jealous, so more than one media report claims.
It’s said the exes are engaged in a rebound dating duel, with models Yovanna Ventura and Tanz Watson as pretty pawns.
While that may be true, it’s also possible the former halves of Jelena are trying to move on with their lives but every entertainment news outlet in town is creeping over their social media accounts then stirring up what they find.
Of course Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez check out each other’s social media posts. But do they watch each other’s accounts “religiously?” Maybe. Then again, maybe not. It’s not hard to believe they may be trying to make each other jealous based on their posts with new dates. Or in Selena’s case, allowing a male model to tweet a snap of her draped all over him.
Justin got the ball rolling Tuesday. The “Confident” singer flooded his Shots of Me account with snaps of himself and Ventura – an 18-year-old, Miami-based model – after pulling all-nighter at a recording studio. The pair were also seen smiling with another couple at a mini golf/batting cage center. In one picture, Ventura is seen cuddling the singer as he sat at a keyboard.
Hours later, Biebs posted a Shot of himself looking exhausted with Yovanna wrapped around him from behind. Then, a cute image of the brunette captioned, “Fell asleep in the stu.” The model was also allowed to post photos of herself and her famous beau to her Shots account, one of which showed her wearing his baseball cap as they fooled around together.

Ventura isn’t a new face. She was first seen in a photograph Justin posted from the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Marcos Maidana face-off in Las Vegas on May 3, then a day later frolicking with him in Venice Beach.
Understandably, all of this seems to have been hard for Selena to take. After all, it was just last month the actress-singer and her on-off Canadian amour were seen on dates all over Los Angeles. But as Jelena watchers know, the rules of engagement between these two have been complicated since their first break up in November 2012 after they began dating back in 2010.
Perhaps the final straw for Selena was a video of Justin hanging out with a girl at a roller rink on June 28? He posted a photo himself with glamour model Chantel Jeffries and her female pal days later.
After sad Instagram posts followed, Gomez’s messages got a lot more pointed the day after Bieber’s Shots blitz.
In one, the 21-year-old posted an extract of a recent interview with actress Zoe Saldana that appeared to address media reports accusing her of having a since denied “boob job,” after she was seen walking around New York City on Wednesday bra-less.
The Latina’s post read: “On valuable life lessons she has learned: ‘The moment you compare yourself [to another woman], it weakens you, and I’m not here for that. Once you know that reality [and] claim your space, your life becomes easier.’ ”

That same night, the Spring Breakers star partied with pals at Tao restaurant in New York.
Two notable photos emerged from the fun. One showed her busting out of a brassiere top in a nip slip which she posted on Instagram. Another was a snap of Selena puckering up to 26-year-old male model Tanz Watson, who tweeted it with the caption:
“Hold up hold up got my homie @selenagomez.”
Seemingly not to be outdone, Justin jumped on his Instagram account the morning after to post a photo of himself and the statuesque Yovanna dining out somewhere in L.A.
“dinner for 2 ;),” read the heartthrob’s functional post caption.
Possibly in response, Selena dialled up the sexy three days later wearing a backless, black playsuit with cute as booties while strolling about Miami Beach with Spring Breakers director Harmony Korine on Saturday.
The probable business meeting followed her more casual horse-riding trip in Magic City the day before and Instagram posts with children.

Things took a more serious turn Saturday night.
Selena posted a screenshot of her Instagram reply to an individual who evidently takes being a fan way too seriously [does media play a part in that incitement?], and “wished” cancer on Gomez and her family.
Gomez pointed out to the fan, who has since deleted her account, that her terrible note was “absurd.”
Meanwhile, Bieber hit the studio after a Friday night and Saturday spent being “superbored.” According to a Shots post he worked on a collaboration with Tyga, but the rapper wasn’t in the studio.
Tyga later replied to a Shots message from Justin, writing, “We got a hit.” To which, Justin responded “For the world.”
As to whether Bieber and Gomez are really trying to make each other jealous and dueling on social media?
Even if they aren’t, it’s a bit of fun to imagine they are. But here’s some friendly message to fans: It’s always best not to get too over-invested in other people’s lives and take it to unkind, bullying places.
Bieber appeared to echo this in a post to his social media pages on Sunday, writing:
