It didn’t take long for Lana Del Rey to find romance in the arms of another.

Remember when Barrie-James O’Neill told everyone that he was still with the singer despite her confirmation that their relationship was over? Well, apparently the guy wasn’t telling TMZ the whole truth. According to Perez Hilton, Lana was recently caught sucking face with a music video director in Italy. Ouch!

The Inquisitr previously reported that Lana Del Rey announced her split from O’Neill during a recent overseas interview. Much to everyone’s surprise, the songstress said their romance was officially over. The world wept gently as another celebrity relationship crashed and burned on the battlefield of love.

Lana Del Rey said in the infamous interview:

“We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free. We’ll see how it goes.”

As Lana Del Rey’s fans attempted to process this surprising information, TMZ managed to get a statement from Barrie-James O’Neill. According to him, people were getting caught up in a web of sticky internet falsehoods.

He told the celebrity gossip site:

“It’s not over. Don’t believe what you read. It’s just stories, man. Bedtime stories.”

So who is telling the truth? Did Lana Del Rey and her boyfriend really call it quits? Is the singer just toying with everyone’s emotions? Unfortunately for O’Neill, it would appear that he’s the one who’s seriously mistaken.
