Jonah Hill Ignores Hilary Duff As She Attempts To Get His Attention On Busy LA Street

I’m sure that Hilary Duff believed she had every right to try and get Jonah Hill’s attention when the pair walked passed each other on a Los Angeles street, but it appears as though the 22 Jump Street star was more interested in carrying on his day than chatting with her.

Pictures have emerged of Hill strolling through Beverly Hills last Sunday when all of a sudden Duff spotted the actor and shouted his name to try and get his attention. Duff wasn’t alone during the incident though, which makes it slightly less embarrassing, as her ex-husband, Mike Comrie, also tried to vain to speak to Hill.

Hill, who had just left the fancy eatery Nate ‘n Al, either didn’t hear Duff and Comrie’s effort to speak to him or simply mistook them for eager fans who were looking for an autograph and picture with the comedian that they could then plaster across the world wide web. Or maybe he just really doesn’t like Hilary Duff and this was his passive aggressive way of showing her.

Photographers confirmed to Us Weekly that the awkward scenario had taken place, declaring that Comrie, who is a Canadian hockey player, had yelled out Hill’s name but that the Oscar-nominated thespian failed to register his call.

However Duff and Comrie were able to get over this snub pretty quickly as they then carried on with their Sunday afternoon rituals — and they were even spotted grabbing a drink soon after.

Hill might have been too busy thinking about just how much money 22 Jump Street, the sequel to the 2012 box office hit 21 Jump Street, had amassed at the box office. The film is now believed to have grossed over $200 million since its release last month, which means that it has already surpassed its predecessor’s total of $138 million.

Because of its success, talk has already turned to the possibility of 23 Jump Street, but Amber Stevens, who starred alongside Hill and Channing Tatum in the sequel, has revealed that it’s too premature for such chatter.

“I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen,” she told Joblo. “I think they’re done making sequels, but who know. Never say never, right?”

Hollywood’s penchant for sequels to hugely popular franchises means that there is every possibility that Hill, Tatum, and Ice Cube will be asked back for a further instalment to the comedic franchise which, so far, has been loved by both critics and audiences alike.
