Zayn Malik Gets Some Love From Liam Payne
Zayn Malik may have caused One Direction some headaches when he was recently caught on video smoking a joint, but apparently there’s no permanent damage done.
In case you haven’t heard, Malik and his fellow singers are currently wooing the masses overseas. Say what you will about the guys and their songs, but they’re definitely among the hardest-working chaps in music. When Zayn, Liam, Niall, Louis, and Harry aren’t doing their thing on-stage, the singers are busy working on new material.
According to TV3, Payne was quick to give Zayn Malik and his bandmates plenty of love after one of their recent shows. Instead of sending them flowers or an eloquently worded telegrams, Liam did the next best thing: He issued a 140-character love letter on Twitter.

Zayn Malik fans are probably extremely happy with this post. Quite a few websites and publications claimed that he and fellow weed enthusiast Louis Tomlinson caused a bit of trouble for the guys when they were caught getting lifted on video.
An anonymous source recently dished:
“It’s Zayn and Louis against the others — Harry, Liam and Niall are furious. They had a dramatic meeting last week and Harry was the first to lash out, telling them they’d messed everything up. But Zayn turned it around on Harry and accused him of only being interested in himself. Poor Niall has been in tears — he’s worried this could be the end of the band.”
Thankfully, it appears that everything is a-okay. After Liam Payne issued an apology for Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson’s reckless behavior, the situation appears to have blown over without too many problems. Of course, Zayn and his weed buddy probably received a bit of reprimanding behind the scenes. After all, the group has an image to uphold.
Payne said in a message to fans:
“I love my boys and maybe things have gone a little sideways I apologize for that. We are only in our 20?s we all do stupid things at this age. We all have a lot of growing up to do in an extreme circumstance I’m not making excuse but it’s fact we are gonna fall short somewhere. Hopefully we stand the test of time and get it right in the end I don’t take this for granted and I’m extremely grateful to be here doing this. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through this just know that we love you guys for it and it means the world.”
Like it or not, it appears that Zayn Malik and his pals are here to stay.
