For the First time ever at Comic Con, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment partner up at Comic Con to form a mega power block of panels. These panels includes Fox’s Gotham , NBC’s new fall drama Constantine and the CW’s Arrow and its upcoming spin off The Flash .
These panels will include a screening of the pilot Gotham , followed by an appearance of the cast and producers. Then for The Flash panel will show their screening of their pilot episode, along with their cast and producers. Constantine will only show some footage of their show, along with an appearance from the cast and crew. Last but not least the Arrow panel will show a preview of season 3 along with their cast and crew. Though this time Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen in Arrow promises a nice surprise for Comic Con fans this year. Amell wrote a Facebook post saying:
” You know I’m going to be at San Diego Comic-Con International this year, but you have no idea what I’m going to be doing. The Arrow panel on Friday evening is the literal tip of the iceberg. Feel free to speculate. There are (at least) 3 more things on my schedule. Big things. Needless to say, I plan on winning Comic-Con this year. Captain Style.”
Who knows what that could mean, but I guess we will have to wait to find out.
However, if you don’t know what any of these new shows are, they are all based off off DC Comic characters.
The Flash is about police scientist everyday guy Barry Allen, who after an unexpected particle accelerator accident, is suddenly charged with the ability to move at incredible speeds, which he uses to help the people of Central city. This fast paced superhero drama is based upon the characters from DC Comics that follows the high-speeds adventures of the Fastest Man Alive.
Constantine is about the mythology of John Constantine, a morally challenged character who doesn’t come down on the side of good or evil, but ultimately might be the only thing defending us against the dark forces from beyond.
Gotham is based on the story of young Bruce Wayne at the time his parents were killed and follows Jim Gordon as he investigates what happens to them, along with taking on Gotham’s organized crime.
Arrow tells the story of Oliver Queen who was stranded on an Island for five years, and comes back to his home city (Starling City) to clean up the crime filled streets.
For previews for all these great shows, tune into Comic Con Saturday, July 26th.
