Wiz Khalifa Finally Reveals ‘Blacc Hollywood’ Release Date
Wiz Khalifa officially revealed when fans can get their hands on his highly-anticipated album Blacc Hollywood.
The rapper did a fine job teasing the release of his next studio album earlier this year. Although Khalifa said the collection of songs would arrive on retail shelves before the end of the summer, he stopped short of issuing a proper release date. Instead, he distracted everyone by dropping the 28 Grams mixtape.
BET reports that Wiz Khalifa fanatics won’t have to wait too long for Blacc Hollywood to arrive. The rapper recently revealed that the record will hit stereos around the planet on August 19. Not surprisingly, Wiz decided to share this information with his legion of loyal followers on Twitter.

Judging from Wiz Khalifa’s comments earlier this year, Blacc Hollywood is going to alter your perception of what rappers can accomplish within the realm of recorded music. This reportedly includes a collaboration with Miley Cyrus. Unfortunately, Khalifa couldn’t wrangle award-winning singer Adele for a song or two.
Wiz said about his upcoming album:
“I’m just trying to get the right feature on there. It’s gon’ be a really good look. It’s gon’ be a big look. ‘Blacc Hollywood’ in general is gon’ be sonically something that people kinda expect, but it’s like they want it, so it’s gonna be a good thing for me to deliver.”
If you’d like to complete your Wiz Khalifa experience when the album drops this August, then you should partake in your favorite herbal enhancement with some Khalifa-approved RAW Rolling Papers. It’s like having Wiz in the room with you, except he’s inside the joint hand-rolled cigarette.
In addition to providing folks with a high-quality brand of rolling paper, Wiz Khalifa and the company are including that something should prove very handy: a poker. The RAW CEO said they came to this conclusion when he spied the rapper rolling a joint backstage.
He explained:
“That night Wiz told me ‘See, Josh you need to include a poker with my packs.’ It took me a while to find a way to keep it integrated and natural, but now we’re proud to announce the launch of the special Wiz packs with built-in tips and poking tool. May you never spend another night of frustration searching for a pen to poke with!”
Are you looking forward to Wiz Khalifa’s upcoming album? Do you plan to pick up Blacc Hollywood when it drops on August 19?
