The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is getting a reboot of sorts. After a fairly lame season in the ratings department, producers have offered Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof their jobs back… sort of. According to TMZ , Grammer and Maloof will be back on the Bravo show, but will not be full-time cast members. Apparently, producers feel that bringing Grammer and Maloof back is the key to a significant ratings boost — and they might be right.
According to the report:
“They’ll be on here and there. They’ve already shot scenes — most recently at Kyle Richards’ infamous white party.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills lost Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof for similar reasons. Both women went through fairly public divorces and their appeal wasn’t a good fit for Bravo. Grammer was reportedly canned because she was “too boring” for the show after her split from Kelsey Grammer, while Maloof left on her own accord during her split from Paul Nassif (who now has his own show, Botched ), likely to seek some time out of the spotlight to get her life in order. Now that things have somewhat settled down for the two women, bringing them back might be a smart idea.
Grammer and Maloof were both well-liked on the show. While they both had their various issues with different cast members from time to time, they really fit into the existing group (Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster, and Brandi Glanville). Since Bravo let go of the two newest housewives, Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, there were gaps in the cast — but it totally makes sense to bring back women who are popular and who jive with the other ladies rather than bring in women who are new and bring new problems to the table.
According to Gossip Cop , these rumors are indeed true . Despite both women leaving on not the greatest terms, they are both getting a second chance to be in the spotlight and they both seem to be enjoying it thus far. Oh, and judging by a recent pic from Kyle, former Housewife Taylor Armstrong will also be around.
As for other Real Housewives of Beverly Hills casting rumors, Suzanne Somers’ name has also been tossed around online. As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Somers has already been offered a spot on the show.
