The Fault In Our Stars’ Ansel Elgort Has A Girlfriend

In fact, he’s had a girlfriend for a long time.

Ansel Elgort, one of the leading stars of The Fault in Our Stars film, based on the novel The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, recently introduced his girlfriend to the world. Her name is Violetta Komyshan, a fellow entertainer and performer — but not an actor. Komyshan is a ballerina, to be exact, who met the Fault in Our Stars heartthrob at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

According to the IBTimes, Ansel Elgort has been faithful to Violetta for quite awhile now. Even during the filming of The Fault in Our Stars, wherein Elgort had to be madly in love with Shailene Woodley’s character Hazel Grace Lancaster, Ansel was fully committed to his main off-screen squeeze.

“He had ladies clawing their way toward him [during his press tour for The Fault In Our Stars], which most girlfriends would have probably not been really cool with, but they have been together for a while now, and Violetta is not that kind of girl,” a source told US Magazine. “Ansel is a really good guy who just likes to have fun, and she was there for most of the events to support him.”

Many fans of The Fault in Our Stars will be heart-broken to hear this, but Ansel’s girlfriend is only news because he waited so long to reveal it. Ansel and Violetta have apparently been together long before The Fault in Our Stars, qualifying as high school sweethearts even though LaGuardia is not the conventional kind of high school. Elgort, who is 20 years old, finally took the relationship public shortly after the release of The Fault in Our Stars when he paraded Violetta around in Paris on June 25 for fashion week.

It’s easy to see the chemistry between Ansel and Violetta in the video. But then again, his fans would say the chemistry between him and Shailene Woodley was even more undeniable in The Fault in Our Stars film.
