Eminem’s daughter is all grown up. Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, who was pictured on the rapper’s 1999 debut album The Slim Shady LP , is no longer holding her father’s hand, and is heading off to college.
The 18-year-old Mathers recently graduated from Chippewa Valley High School. According to t he high school’s newspaper Eminem and Kimberly Mathers’ daughter Hailie graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Additionally Hailie must have made her famous papa proud as she was honored with an Academic Excellence Award while at graduation. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude during her high school’s ceremony in Clinton Township, Michigan.
In her high school paper, Scott-Mathers said that the most influential people during her lifetime are her parents:
“My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given all the support to achieve what I have.”
According to the paper, Eminem’s daughter plans to attend Michigan State University and will major in Psychology. During her academic career, Hailie was involved in the National Honor Society, art club, key club, volleyball, and student council.
In addition to her award for excellence, Mathers also received an award from the Department of Psychology Award.

The last we heard from Hailie Scott-Mathers was last year after the news that she was crowned homecoming queen went viral. According to a parent of a Chippewa Valley student, the moment Hailie was crowned was a normal event. Eminem stepped aside so his daughter could have her chance to shine in the spotlight.
“Hailie came out with her mother Kim (Scott) when she was introduced with all the other kids but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene — he wanted Hailie to have her own moment.”

Earlier in his career, Eminem spoke about his daughter Hailie but then most of the attention was around his career. Recently Marshall did have this to say about being a father.
“I’m a father first, before anything. I’m a father before I’m a rapper. So, you know, my daughter comes first no matter what. If there’s important things going on in her life that I need to be there for, then I’ll drop what I’m doing or reschedule around it.”
