John Legend And Chrissy Teigen ‘Not Really Thinking About’ Kids
John Legend and his wife aren’t planning to have kids just yet.
The singer and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen entered the world of wedded bliss last year, so everyone expects the couple to start popping out kids as soon as possible. Since they didn’t immediately start spawning weeks after their wedding day, the world began to wonder if Legend and his spouse even wanted children.
People magazine recently asked Teigen if she and John Legend wanted to have kids anytime soon. Instead of telling the publication to mind its own business, the model decided to give the world an update on their plans to start a family.

Chrissy told the outlet:
“We’re not really thinking about it yet. Most of my friends have kids actually, and basically, nobody ever says, ‘I wish I would have had them earlier!’ So at this point, I’m having a lot of fun playing with my friends’ babies. I think I’ve seen my best friend’s kids all week, every day this past week. I love hanging out with them, and it’s nice being able to hold them then pass them over when they start crying.”
According to Glamour, John Legend and his wife are currently focused on adding dogs to their family.
The Inquisitr reported that John Legend rescued an abused three-legged dog not too long ago. Although Chrissy didn’t offer up too many details about the canine’s history, she did refer to the previous owners as “buttheads.”

She said of their newest addition:
“She’s a little tripod. She has been abused, and we are so excited to welcome her to the family. If dogs are the starters for babies, we should have three or four babies by now. I like to think of ourselves as working on babies all the time. And working on getting dogs all the time.”
Teigen added:
“I won’t get too into it but let’s just say her first family were buttheads and we are happy to shower her with love for the rest of time! She is such a little light of energy and I can’t wait to meet her tonight. John on a plane with her now!”
