Kristen Bell Pregnant: Actress Expecting Second Child With Hubby Dax Shepard
There’s good news out for Veronica Mars fans, as Kristen Bell is pregnant with her second child. Bell and her husband Dax Shepard already have one little one, a 15-month-old named Lincoln Bell Shepard.
The Frozen and Parenthood stars have not detailed just when the new arrival is due, but their rep confirmed the Kristen Bell pregnancy news to Entertainment Tonight. As their fans know, Kristen and Dax have been very vocal about wanting paparazzi to leave the children of celebrities along. The couple started the “No Kids Policy” effort, and many other celebrities have voiced their support. Though the stars have shared some fun family details with fans, they are passionate about keeping photographers away from their child.
Dax and Kristen’s daughter Lincoln was born in March 2013, and the duo wed quietly last October. Us Weekly notes that Bell has often gushed about motherhood, saying that she wants to be very hands-on. For his part, Dax has been a doting daddy to little Lincoln since day one as well.
Though they seemed a somewhat unlikely pairing at first, the Veronica Mars star and comedian dated for six years before finally tying the knot. They’ve been, seemingly, one of Hollywood’s strongest duos and make fans laugh with their sense of humor. Both stars share a lot of fun moments and quips via social media, and fans will surely never forget the Kristen Bell sloth segment from The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
In addition to Kristen Bell’s pregnancy, what else do the two stars have in the works? Of course Bell has been starring in House of Lies in addition to doing the voice of Anna in the Disney blockbuster Frozen. Many Veronica Mars fans are hoping Bell may also end up having some involvement in the digital spin-off Play It Again, Dick centered around the Ryan Hansen character of Dick Casablancas.
As for Dax Shepard, he has played the character of Crosby Braverman in the NBC series Parenthood since 2010. The show has been renewed for one more season, though this is expected to be the last. Shepard also has two films he’s wrapped that should be coming out soon.
While fans likely will not see many, if any, pictures of the new baby when he or she arrives, there will surely be plenty of jokes make on Twitter regarding the new family member and everybody’s adjustments.
