Why Did Lindsay Lohan Run Around Naked At An Upmarket London Store?

Lindsay Lohan seems to be spending a lot of time in London recently, mainly due to her starring in a West End revival of David Marmet’s Speed-the-Plow, which is due to hit the stage this November.

And while in London, Lohan is taking full advantage of the sights, and more importantly, the shopping.

The tabloid press in Britain reported that when the young star recently visited Selfridges, one of the most upmarket department stores in the capital, for a spot of shopping after tea and scones, she ended up laughing hysterically as if high and was running around the store half naked!

An insider told The Sun newspaper:

“Lindsay took some items into the changing room. Halfway through, she ran out of the room with nothing on and was chased by members of staff who were trying to cover her up. She was laughing her head off and literally giving staff the run-around as customers looked on.”

Even though Lindsay Lohan was all set to meet with a personal shopper at Selfridges to assist her on her spree, she cancelled that appointment after her weird behavior in the store.

The inside source added: “Lindsay was booked in for a personal shopping experience with a posh brand at the shop later that day, but it didn’t happen.”

Lohan recently completed a court-ordered stint in rehab due to her love of cocaine, among other stimulants, and seemed to be doing way better in London than she was back home.

A source spoke about the 27-year-old, “She loves British culture and says people have treated her with respect for the first time in years. Now she’s looking into the immigration process and planning a full-time relocation.”

Of course, it remain to be seen whether or not Lindsay Lohan will move to London permanently. But it is good to see that the city has had a good effect on her and helped her to clean up her act.
