‘Batman Vs Superman’ Footage Could Debut At Comic-Con 2014
The first Batman vs Superman footage might find its way to the public at Comic-Con 2014. A lot of negative press has surrounded the upcoming film alongside several celebrities assuring us that it will be fine. When we finally see the movie in action, or at least a clip of it, we will know for sure if our fears or our hopes will prevail in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel.
Batman vs Superman‘s cast is what most critics (and some fans who think they’re critics) have been slamming it for. It’s obvious that Warner Bros is going for a reinvention of the whole universe with some of the choices they’re made.
Ben Affleck was chosen to play Batman, his first superhero role since his critically-slammed Daredevil. When this was announced, the movie crowd actually petitioned to have him removed in favor of someone they could actually approve of. The petition didn’t work, and Affleck might not be as bad as they think.
Gal Gadot from Fast Five was announced to play Wonder Woman, and she was criticized for her figure, fans claiming she doesn’t even look like an Amazon.
Probably the biggest shock of all was the announcement that Zombieland‘s Jesse Eisenberg was chosen to play the iconic villain Lex Luthor. While it wasn’t Batman vs Superman footage, YouTube was treated to a fan trailer showing us that he might actually be able to pull off the role of a criminal genius. He definitely has the talent.
We can’t know yet if the upcoming Justice League cast will be a flop or a surprise win, but we should remember that Samuel L. Jackson was chosen to play Nick Fury in the Avengers film series. Everybody thought that Heath Ledger was a terrible choice to play the Joker … until we saw him in action. The acting all around might pleasantly surprise us when Zack Snyder‘s Batman vs. Superman footage debuts at San Diego Comic-Con.
So far all we have are rumors about the event, but it’s one of the biggest of the year for comic book fans, and DC Comics would most likely get the greatest hype from showing the fans that their casting worries are unfounded. We might even get to see an interesting take on Aquaman if Jason Momoa is indeed playing the role.

For anybody who thinks the upcoming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to be two hours of crap, we should remind you that until we actually see the movie we can’t realistically judge it.
The rumored Batman vs Superman footage at Comic-Con 2014 might surprise us.
