Adam Levine: Has He Apologized To His Ex-Girlfriends Yet?
Adam Levine is set to marry his girlfriend, Behati Prinsloo, this summer, and he wants to make amends before tying the knot.
According to Us Weekly, sources have said that Adam Levine planned to get over his guilty feelings of breaking up with his ex-girlfriends by apologizing to them before his marriage. Apparently the Maroon 5 vocalist believes that his marriage needs to start off as clean as can be, and the only way to do that is to tell old girlfriends that he is sorry for being less than a perfect boyfriend.
Adam has certainly given his share of heartbreak to several women. One famous incident occurred when Levine broke off a relationship with model Nina Agdal by ignoring her calls very suddenly. To make matters worse, Adam later texted Nina to tell her that he was engaged to Behati Prinsloo.
A long list of other ex-girlfriends includes model Anne Vyalitsyna, model Arielle Vandenberg, and champion tennis player Maria Sharapova.
Adam has famously preferred to date models, and he seems to have finally found a supermodel that he can’t get enough of with Behati Prinsloo. They have been dating off and on since 2012, and he reportedly wants to tattoo her name over his heart to prove that she is the one and only for him.
The thoughtful gesture still cannot cover up a guilty conscience, and Levine felt the need to contact old flames again to set things right before making his union with Behati permanent this summer.
Many women would find a call from an ex-boyfriend appalling, especially if it was to apologize right before the boyfriend marries another woman. It has been said by Us Weekly sources that Adam has already apologized to quite a few of his exes, and one source reported, “They couldn’t care less he wants to make it right.”
ELLE mentions that the whole situation reeks of a bad romantic comedy. It would seem as though Levine’s exes do not see anything remotely funny about the situation, and none of the women have publicly addressed the embarrassing situation.
People can only wonder why Adam Levine would want to contact his old girlfriends again when he should be enjoying one of the happiest moments of his new life with Prinsloo. Whatever his reasoning behind the ill-timed apologies, Levine does seem smitten and ready for marriage with his lovely bride-to-be. Hopefully Adam Levine’s apologies only show that he has learned from his past mistakes and that he is ready to move on as a better person.
