Kim And Kanye’s Bel Air Mansion: Luxury Pad To Include Six Gold Silk Beds Costing $1 Million

Kim And Kanye are throwing a whole lot of cash at their $11 million Bel Air mansion which they purchased last year, just before Nori was born in June.

Being that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are one of the most popular celebrity couples out there these days, it’s only fitting that because of all the media rumors and reports about them, the couple should have a great pad to call home.

But, for the time being at least, the couple will have to make do with the humble abode they have at Kris Jenner’s Calabasas home where they are are staying while renovations are underway.

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West bought the mansion they probably didn’t think it would take this long to renovate it. Then again, they are throwing a staggering $20 million just at the renovations, including coughing up $1 million on the security system alone.

Even though Kim and Kanye only planned to spend about $10 million renovating the Bel Air mansion, costs seemed to have spiraled out of control, and more than doubled. A source told X17:

Kim and Kanye are sort of freaking out right now. They are worth millions and millions of dollars, but even for them the amount of money this home turns out to be costing them is making them stressed. Not to mention it might be years before it’s ready for them to move in!

As with all projects of this scale, things seem to just keep going wrong, one after another. The celebrity couple has already had issues with the water, electricity and heating as the whole property needed to be rewired, not to mention the 4,000 square feet of living space they are adding!

According to reports, the couple has already forked out a good $750,000 on four gold-plated toilets, and in excess of $1 million on kitchen appliances.

A further million dollars has also been spent on six special edition beds that are: “covered in the same decadent gold silk used to create iconic Hermes ties, equating to some 1,600 miles of thread in total.”

Kim and Kanye are taking the word decadence to a whole new level as their new dream home will include a bowling alley, indoor and outdoor pools a basketball court and a movie theater.
