Mitt Romney Losing Ground To Rick Perry [Poll]
A recent poll has shown that Texas Gov. Rick Perry would enter the GOP presidential nomination directly behind front-runner Mitt Romney if he were to enter the race today.
The Rasmussen survey revealed on Monday shows that Romney has the support of 22% of Republican primary voters, while Perry is only 4% behind at 18% support.
Following behind Perry is Rep. Michele Bachmann from Minnesota who has 16% voter support in the survey.
The survey also reveals that Mitt Romney has lost quite a bit of ground to Ms. Bachmann who was trailing in mid-June 33% to 19% in early polling, however that poll did not take Rick Perry into consideration.
The poll which was taken on July 28 includes 1,000 likely Republican voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
