‘Legend Of Korra’ Season 3 Clip Releases With A Confirmed Premier Date
The hit Nickelodeon American cartoon/anime, Legend of Korra, just released its latest trailer along with its confirmed premier date.
In a related report by The Inquisitr, the show’s second season was unique because it resembled American politics, centralized on the theme of a government shutdown. It was also on this season that Lisa Edelstein signed on as well. Unfortunately, Legend of Korra was probably one of the only good things going for Nickelodeon. Their other show, Sam & Max, has a bit of controversy surrounding their stars. Jennette McCurdy, the actress who plays Sam, had racy lingerie photos leak on the internet. Ariana Grande, the actress who plays Max, has a workaholic perfectionist attitude that has caused dire consequences with Mariah Carey, Iggy Azalea, and even her fellow co-star as both of them battled to keep their show from cancelling.
The exclusive was originally announced on IGN. From what they state, the debut will be on Friday, June 27 at 7 pm on Nickelodeon. Also, Legend of Korra fans will be treated to a ton that night as the first two episodes from the third season (also known as Book 3) will air. Then right after that, a special bonus presentation of the third episode will air at 8 pm. That is truly fan service at its best!
Fourth of July week will be a break for the show, and new episodes will resume at the show’s regular timeslot, Friedays at 8 pm, beginning July 11. IGN also got the official Legend of Korra premier clip, which is shown below.
International Digital Times also includes descriptions of the first two episodes airing on the premier date, in which they state the following for the both of them:
“A Breath of Fresh Air: After the events of Harmonic Convergence, Avatar Korra discovers that her decision to leave the spirit portals open has unexpected consequences. Wild spirit vines have overgrown Republic City and Airbenders are suddenly popping up across the four nations.”
“Rebirth of a Nation: Korra, Tenzin and Team Avatar search for new Airbenders in an effort to recruit them and rebuild the Air Nation. Meanwhile, a band of sinister criminals are organizing to hunt down the Avatar themselves.”
