The latest in the Kardashian saga is the news that Kim may be looking to revive her defunct music career. While attempts to establish herself as a vocalist in the past have failed, Kim is reportedly spending time in the studio with her husband Kanye West.
Are Kimye trying too much to be like Kanye's pals Jay and Bey?
Back in 2011, Kim recorded a single by the name of "Jam (Turn It Up)" in conjunction with a charity with which she was working.
Despite the fact that Kim previously noted that she would never attempt a singing career again after the single that she recorded for a St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital failed to register on industry charts, it looks like she might be in recording mode. In a photo shared via Kim's Instagram account, she is shown sitting in the studio doing some type of recording. Kim captioned the photo:
Excited about this new project. #ComingSoon #KimKardashianGameKim Kardashian joins the list of Hollywood celebrities who have pursued a career in music. Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Naomi Campbell have also attempted to jump-start their careers in music. So, how does Kim Kardashian plan to make this second go-round a hit?
While reports have yet to be confirmed, a source close to Kim and Kanye, says she has been actively taking singing lessons and songwriting courses. Furthermore, it appears that Kim has been meeting with record labels about her new venture. According to a British tabloid, another source said:
Kim has told pals she's keen to be taken seriously as a vocal artist. Kanye will advise on the project, which he's given his full backing. She's started vocal coaching and songwriting lessons and set up meetings with record companies. In unrelated news, the couple is still making waves with the recent celebration of daughter Nori's first brithday amid controversy about the little babe's pierced ears. It seems that Kimye can't seem to get out of the spotlight, and it looks like they don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
