Dave Coulier: Uncle Joey Gladstone From Full House Is Getting Married
Dave Coulier…most of us remember David as the comedic Joey Gladstone, who had an affinity for woodchucks and the Detroit Red Wings, from Full House in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Most of us who grew up watching the show remember John Stamos’ Uncle Jesse getting most of the love action in the show, but “have mercy” and “Cut. It. Out….” It never happened for Joey Gladstone on Full House, but actor/comedian David Coulier is getting married.
Coulier and long time girlfriend Melissa Bring announced their engagement yesterday, according to a Good Morning America report. This will be Dave’s second marriage. According to an Access Hollywood report, the Joey Gladstone actor was married to actress Jayne Modean from 1990 to 1992, when Full House was in its heyday. Coulier also dated singer Alanis Morissette in 1993.
In a related Inquisitr report, Dave Cloulier recently set the record straight on urban legends surrounding Morissette’s hit song You Ought To Know. Among other things, Coulier said, “First of all, the guy in that song is a real a-hole, so I don’t want to be that guy.”
Fans of Dave Coulier, and especially of Full House will want to pay attention to this engagement. The wedding is set for July 2 in Montana and many Full House fan favorites are expected to be in attendance. The guest list reportedly includes John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Lori Laughlin (Rebecca Donaldson), and Candace Cameron Bure– who has made the news in her own right recently for comments she has made about her relationship with her hockey star husband, for her involvement in Dancing With The Stars and for a recent reunion with her Full House boyfriend.
According to a report in Yahoo News, the 54-year old Full House actor had this to say about his bride-to-be, who he has been dating for nine years:
“Melissa has been, truly, my best friend for nine years. We simply thought we would just make it a lifetime. I can’t wait.”
An ABC report gives a more Uncle Joey Gladstone-esque quote from Dave Coulier:
“Melissa has been my best friend since I met her nine years ago. I feel like the luckiest man on the planet. I get to marry my best friend, and she doesn’t mind that I have a really bad gas problem.”
Unfortunately for Full House fans, Candace Cameron Bure has already said there So far, there has been no word of whether Jesse and the Rippers will perform at the reception of Dave Coulier and Melissa Bring’s wedding.
