Tracy Morgan’s fiancee spoke out on his health and made a public plea. According to CNN, Megan Wollover has asked that people stop speculating about her man’s condition. Her plea comes after rumors surfaced about Morgan needing his leg amputated. Since there was not much information about Morgan’s condition released, people began spreading rumors and reading fabricated stories, many of which had Morgan as good as a vegetable with no limbs.
Wollover’s publicist, Lewis Kay, released the following statement on her behalf:
“The concern for his well-being has been overwhelming, but Megan is respectfully asking that the media await official word through these channels before speculating (mostly inaccurately) on his condition. Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated.”
Tracy Morgan’s fiancee has allowed small updates on her beau’s health. For instance, it has now been confirmed that Morgan had surgery on his broken leg. As of Tuesday, the 30 Rock actor was listed in critical but stable condition. He will have a long road to recovery and is expected to remain in the hospital for several weeks — but it sounds like he is going to be okay.
According to dbTechno.com, Morgan’s family has also asked that people not speculate on his condition . They have urged the public to only trust updates from major, reliable news outlets. The site reported that Morgan suffered “a broken nose, broken leg, and broken ribs” in a multi-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. Early Saturday morning, a tractor trailer collided with the limo bus that Morgan was riding in. Several people were injured and one person died (comedian James McNair).
Tracy Morgan’s fiancee hasn’t given too many health updates, but her publicist has said enough for people to know that Morgan is likely going to recover from this tragedy. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Morgan’s condition has improved over the last couple of days. He is said to be “more responsive,” which is a great sign.
Many have been sending their love and well wishes via social media since the crash. It sounds like prayers have been answered and that Morgan will be able to make a full recovery. The support for him has simply been amazing. As soon as he’s feeling up to it, you can be sure that Morgan will take to his Twitter account to thank everyone personally. Until then, family, friends, and fans need to keep the positive vibes flowing.
Tracy Morgan will get through this. It’s just going to take some time.
