Incredible Photo Series Asks To “End The Mommy Wars,” Looks To End Judgement Among Mothers
In an effort to “End the Mommy Wars,” an online community for women balancing work and family life has posted an incredible series of photos that show there’s no one way to go about raising your child.
Attempting to end the conflict with those who choose to try and make it known that their methods are better than others, CT Working Moms have put together a photo series that people everywhere should see.
Portraying mothers holding signs with their parenting methods on them, the aim is to encourage a supportive and caring community of parenting that realizes that everyone is on the same team.
According to Upworthy, one of the women behind the project wants to help encourage the idea of letting the negative thoughts go and foster the idea of acceptance among mothers.
The website supports this ambitious concept:
“Judgement-free motherhood starts from within. We each have the power to be less judgmental if we work on letting the negative thoughts go. It takes practice and a willingness to change our mind, but it’s absolutely possible.”
According to the website of the Connecticut based community:
“CT Working Moms (CTWM) is an award-winning, online community for women balancing work and family life in Connecticut. The website provides critical resources and information ranging from pregnancy and child-care to health and nutrition.”
They add, “Over 24 bloggers provide daily articles with the goal of talking honestly about how it really is to be a working mother in our modern world.”
