Kendall Jenner Topless: What Does Dad Bruce Jenner Think?

Kendall Jenner has taken a few initial bold steps while launching her career as a model, and just recently one of those steps has been highly criticized by many for being inappropriate and provocative for the teenager.

Kendall posed topless for the June issue of Interview magazine, and social networking sites were ablaze with negative comments about the 18-year-old’s choice to bare it all. In reality, a few photos from the magazine allowed peeks of Kendall without a top while she covered her breasts with her arms. Other pictures showed Kendall Jenner showing off a bare belly or her toned legs.

Kendall’s well-known mother, Kris Jenner, has publicly defended her daughter’s choice to show off her body. Kris is no stranger to the media, and she often supports her daughters’ choices to do controversial things that other mothers would find embarrassing or off-putting. Kris has said that because her daughter has chosen to be a model, showing some skin simply comes “with the territory.”

Kendall Jenner’s father, on the other hand, is known for being conservative when it comes to doing anything that may be considered provocative. On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bruce commented many times on camera to his stepdaughters and wife about being careful to project an a positive image that could not be misconstrued as anything else. Bruce was famously against Kim Kardashian’s decision to pose for Playboy and even felt concerned when Kris allowed her three eldest adult daughters to pose for a swimsuit ad.

Kendall Jenner has said that her dad is her role model, according to StarPulse.com. “My dad is my everything. He always had the craziest speeches for (younger sister) Kylie and me growing up, good words to live by.”

Kendall also said the best advice that Bruce Jenner ever gave her was, “Dream big, work hard.”

Bruce Jenner apparently respects his daughter Kendall’s decision to go topless on occasion, according to TMZ. Kendall recently posted pictures of herself on Instagram that showed her exposed nipples, and Bruce defended his little girl’s decision to do so.

He explained that Kendall is a “wonderful kid and a great daughter” and he will always be proud of her. Bruce apparently sides with his estranged wife, Kris, when it comes to knowing that posing in suggestive ways is just the way of fashion models.

Kendall has expressed that her parents have influenced with her with their impressive work ethics, and that the support of her family has allowed her to follow her dreams to become a successful fashion model. As an adult, Kendall Jenner is free to follow those dreams in whichever way she chooses.
