We have more information coming out on Revenge season 4 spoilers, thanks to the producers and creators dropping additional teasers!
Joining the crew at ATX Festival Television , executive producers Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts, along with actor Nick Wechsler (Jack Porter), offer fans a better glimpse of what’s ahead in season 4 of ABC’s hottest drama.
Emily Clarke will have a difficult time moving on after losing her love, Aiden Mathis, in season 3. Berg explains that Aiden’s memory will be honored a lot in season 4 of the show:
“One of the things we’re going to keep alive [in Season 4] is the memory of Aiden, because he was such a huge part of the show. He supported Emily a way that a lot other people weren’t able to do because of the experience they shared together.”
Berg says in season 4 of Revenge, Emily reflects on “not only who she is as Amanda Clarke,” but how that affects everyone around her she cares about. She faces a lot of truths and her methods of seeking revenge will “evolve” into a different sphere.
The executive producer shares:
“In the past her instinct has always been to flee.”
As a previous Revenge spoilers article on Inquisitr explains, Emily will have a more “mature” type of vengeance going forward after the loss of Aiden. This is what Berg refers to in Emily’s altered path to getting back at Victoria Grayson.
Harberts talks about Victoria and how determined the icy Grayson matriarch is to get back at Emily:
“She’s obviously a very messed-up character. She’s one of the most fun characters to write. But at the end of the day when she manages to get out [of the psychiatric institute] she is going to be setting her sights on Emily.”
The producer says with a laugh,”Victoria is going to be pissed.”
Then there’s David Clarke. If you thought to yourself after the season 3 finale that this guy is going to be trouble, you’re right.
Berg assures fans of that:
“The character David Clarke is going to cause a lot of problems because he is definitely at a point where these two women’s lives [Amanda and Victoria] intersect.”
Furthermore, David will be a key character in answering burning questions viewers have been wanting to know. His state of mind after everything that’s been introduced to viewers still holds mystery, but his motives will keep everyone on their toes.
Wechsler portrays Jack and he says his character will be more of a bad boy in Revenge season 4. Wechsler hints that Jack won’t involve himself in an immoral act, but he doesn’t mind breaking some laws to get “justice” for Emily:
“He wants justice and his feelings for [Emily] will draw him into morally complex [situations].”
Wechsler also spoke with Zap2it (via BreathCast ), sharing that that Emily and Jack will slowly bond in meaningful way:
“[Emily and Jack are] probably not available because of their heartbreak but they’re going through the same thing at the same time and there’s a window now.”
Revenge season 4 premieres this Fall on ABC and airs Sunday nights at 10 pm, ET/PT.
