Comedian and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan will stay in the intensive care unit following a fatal car crash earlier this morning. As previously reported Morgan and his entourage were involved in a fatal car crash which killed a passenger in his entourage.
According to the initial report, a truck driver dozed off at the wheel and didn’t see traffic slowing down when he crashed his 18-wheeler into the limo that was carrying Tracy Morgan and a few others. The accident took place on the New Jersey Turnpike. In addition to the limo bus and the 18 wheeler, the accident also involved another tractor trailer.
Following news of Tracy Morgan’s crash , we now have new information to add to the tragic story. Morgan’s representative, Lewis Kay, made a statement about his condition following the devastating accident. According to Kay, Morgan is still in critical condition and will most likely stay that way as of right now.
“His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today.”

As previously reported , Morgan, 45, was said to be in critical condition in New Jersey after the six vehicle crash. In addition to the death of the passenger on the limo bus, two others were injured in the vehicle that was carrying the comedian.
According to the New Jersey State Police Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams:
“Driver failed to observe slow-moving traffic ahead. He observed at the last minute — just prior to impact — the limo bus carrying Morgan and his party.”
Currently Morgan is at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The passenger that was killed in the crash was James McNair, a comedy writer for Tracy Morgan. In addition to Morgan’s comedy writer, his assistant, Jeff Millea is believed to also be in critical condition following the car accident.
The other two victims are Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton. Stanton is another comedian who is close to Morgan.
