Pregnant Kelly Clarkson Staying With Allegedly Cheating Husband

American Idol legend Kelly Clarkson is due to have her first child any week now and his staying with her husband, Brandon Blackstock, despite allegations that he’s been cheating on her.

Radar Online reported that Kelly is perfectly happy with her marriage and preparing to bring her daughter into the world. A source told Radar that Clarkson, who is 32, is building a nursery for the child in her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

The source said, “They are beyond excited over this baby. Kelly is just busting with joy and can’t wait to hold her… They’ve got the nursery all together and now it’s just a waiting game.”

But Clarkson’s fans are curious about how Kelly can be so willing to raise a child with her husband after an anonymous woman claimed to have had an affair with Blackstock.

“We haven’t slept together,” the woman said, “but we’ve been intimate in other ways. I really hope his wife keeps her eye on him because he’s not the great man she thinks he is.”

Kelly Clarkson has denied these rumors completely, both on Twitter and in the comments of the original cheating story posted at Radar Online, saying:

“This is absolutely absurd. The woman who posted this fictitious [sic] rumor about my husband use [sic] to be my personal assistant until I terminated her for trying to steal from me. She even tried to impersonate me by soliciting funds using my name and created a ficticious [sic] website. This woman is just out for revenge.”

Even Blackstock’s ex-wife, Melissa Ashworth, has called the cheating rumors false, saying, “I adore Kelly and Brandon as a couple, so if I say anything it’s going to be positive.”

Radar Online’s source said of the couple, “Kelly never really doubted Brandon and all she’s ever wanted is a baby. So they’re just focused on their family right now. Of course the report disappeared, because it wasn’t true.”

Even without the cheating allegations, Kelly’s pregnancy hasn’t been easy for her. The Examiner reported that Clarkson’s experience has been miserable, resulting in sickness and a great deal of weight gain. Apparently, Kelly is afraid to show herself in public because she’s embarrassed by what the pregnancy has done to her body.

It’s not surprising that Kelly Clarkson has been secretive about the cheating rumors. She’s been willfully silent about most of her personal life lately, even refusing to release her due date. But Wet Paint claims to know roughly when the Clarkson baby is due: sometime between April 22 and June 17.
