Wonder Woman Costume: Gal Gadot Could Be Modeled After Amazonian Princess For ‘Batman Vs. Superman’
Wonder Woman is still two years from hitting the big screen in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, but fans may have just gotten a glimpse of the outfit Gal Gadot will wear in the movie.
While the movie has given an official glimpse of Ben Affleck as Batman, there is still no word on just what Wonder Woman may look like. But new rumors circulating say her costume could be modeled after the Amazonian Princess in issue 600 of The All-New Wonder Woman.
According to Kpop Starz, the rumor was leaked by a blog called Comic Central City, and hasn’t been conformed by Warner Bros., but it’s been repeated at a number of movie and comic book blogs.
HNGN pointed out that the Comic Central City site was nowhere to be found on an internet search, but did link to a photo of the reported Wonder Woman costume.
Gal Gadot herself (sans Wonder Woman costume) has recently been spotted in Detroit as shooting of the movie began.

Ben Affleck was also spotted bulking up for his turn as the Caped Crusader. Zahra Hube of WWJ-TV caught Affleck at the local gym Fitness 19 in Royal Oak, Michigan, where the actor was working out.
Gal Gadot has a more interesting approach to her role as Wonder Woman. After being cast, the Israeli actress addressed criticism that she may not have the right physique to play the busty superhero.
“Hmm. I represent the Wonder Women of the new world. Breasts… anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels [Israeli currency] and everything is fine,” she said. “By the way, Wonder Woman is amazonian, and historically accurate amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I’d really go ‘by the book’ …it’d be problematic.”
But Gadot did say she’s doing a lot of hard work to get ready for her role.
“It’s the physical preparations that I’m starting now. A very serious training regime – Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords, jujutsu, Brazilian…1,000 and 1 things…I’ll gain body mass,” she noted.
Fans who want to see the Wonder Woman costume on the big screen still have some waiting to do. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is slated for release on May 6, 2016.
